Loading Dots and Boxes
The first visit downloads about 10 MB. After that it opens much faster.
This is taking longer than usual.
How to play
- Tap the dice to roll. The number you roll is how many lines you draw this turn.
- Tap between two dots to draw a line. Draw the last side of a box to capture it and score.
- Then the bot rolls and plays. Finish with more points than the bot to clear the level.
- Reroll a low roll (from level 5) for 20 coins, before you draw. Win levels to earn coins.
- New twists unlock as you go: power dice from level 12 (roll a 5 for a bomb that destroys a bot box, a 6 to double your next roll), mega boxes worth more points from level 21, and solo puzzles from level 30, where you must reach a target before your rolls run out.
Good to know
- 250 levels in five chapters. The menu’s Play button always continues from your next level.
- Progress saves in this browser on this device: levels, coins and sound setting. Clearing site data or using a private window starts over.
- Pause with the ❚❚ button in the game. Switching tabs pauses a match automatically.
- Mouse or touch. No account needed.
ABOUT THE GAME
A familiar board, with dice changing every turn.
This version adds dice to the classic dots-and-boxes board. Your roll determines how many lines you can draw, so each turn asks you to balance immediate captures against the openings you leave for the bot. Later levels introduce power dice, higher-value boxes, and solo targets.
Tips for your next attempt
- Count the missing sides before spending a line. A box with three sides is an immediate opportunity for whoever can draw the fourth.
- Plan the whole roll. An early line may set up a capture with a later line in the same turn.
- Keep an eye on the score and level objective. Later special boxes can make the points more important than the number of boxes.
Can I buy more coins?
No. This version has no coin purchases. Earn coins by winning; a reroll costs 20 coins after the feature unlocks.
